A close-up on a clump of high-mountain gentians. The species is most probably the Trumpet Gentian (Gentiana kochiana, also called Gentiana excisa or Gentiana latifolia).
Où est-ce ? Au-dessus de la route au "Port d'Envalira" (Col d'Envalira) en Andorre, à faible distance de la frontière française. C'est le plus haut col routier d'Europe (environ 2500 m) et malgré la date estivale il restait quelques traces de neige sur la végétation.		Where is it? Above the road at "Port d'Envalira" (Envalira Col) in Andorra, at a short distance from the French border. This is the highest road col in Europe (about 2500 m) and, although it was full summer, a few snow patches were still seen on the vegetation.
