The picture: what is it? An Izard, which the is name given in Pyrenean regions to the Chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra). The Pyrenean population is totally isolated from the main stock, which is found in the Alps. It is usually considered a subspecies (Rupicapra rupicapra pyrenaica). You don't see the animal? Look more closely. Its head is just emerging from the vegetation, slightly to the left of, and slightly lower than, the middle of the picture.
